English Cucumber Slicer
Circa early1800’s; probably English. Implement made for slicing raw cucumbers. The adjustable blades are made of sterling silver and bear the ‘hallmark” (maker’s stamp) of the silversmith who crafted them. Similar items sell at auction for anywherefrom $2500 – $4000 depending upon condition.
